How-To Uninstall and Reinstall Unity Web Player

If you're having trouble installing the Unity Web Player or if it is not running properly, please uninstall the Unity Web Player from your computer and then download it again.


To uninstall the Unity Web Player, find the operating system you’re using and follow the instructions below:

Windows XP / Vista

  1. Close all web browsers.
  2. Go to My Computer.
  3. Click your local disk or hard drive (usually Local Disk C:)
  4. Click on the Program Files folder.
  5. Right click on the Unity Folder.
  6. Select Delete.
  7. Restart your computer.


Windows 7

  1. Close all browsers.
  2. Click the Windows Start Button.
  3. Click Control Panel.
  4. Click Add or Remove Programs.
  5. Right click Unity Web Player.
  6. Click Uninstall.
  7. Click Finish.
  8. Restart your computer.



  1. Click your Mac HD.
  2. Click Libraries.
  3. Click Internet Plugins.
  4. Drag the Unity Web Player.plugin into the Trash.
  5. Empty Trash.
  6. Restart your computer.


Mac OSX - Widget

  1. Close all browsers.
  2. Go to Macintosh HD/Users/YOUR_USERNAME/
  3. Click Library.
  4. Click on Internet Plugins.
  5. Drag the Unity Player Plugin to the Trash.
  6. Empty Trash.
  7. Restart your computer.


You will be asked to install the Unity Web Player browser plugin and after the first time you play run Dragons and Titans after uninstalling the Unity Web Player. The latest version of Unity Web Player should be installed on your computer. You may alternatively download the latest version of the Unity Web Player from the Unity3D website at


Please Note: Other applications using Unity Web Player may be affected if you uninstall it.
